I was riding my motorcycle when the thunderstorm struck. There was lightning that hit the freeway and I felt the electricity flow through my body. It’s like the grand-scale brain of the universe fires its neurons, communicating the language only my soul could understand. I remember every memory as fresh as it is happening. Into the center of the storm is so much wonder and peace. It’s the wisdom of the Divine.

I was riding my motorcycle on a state road and came to a place where it was raining heavily. I felt electricity run through my arms with the force of lightning. That’s how close I am. I remember every memory as if I were there. A flashback moment from the past echoes as my wheel slips. Manila, Philippines, I was traveling from our project site with our construction crew. A normal situation when our project is in a rush. Along EDSA, I used the brakes to slow down while approaching traffic when suddenly, the tire slid followed by a loud impact on the ground, our body lay in the middle of the road and everything became quiet. It turned out to be another longest moment. I felt the burden and huge responsibility for my crew if there was worse happened to them.

Up to now, it always come to my mind as a reminder whenever I drive someone, like one time when I was driving with another family in Yosemite Park passing alongside a mountain and valley. Or even if someone when I know following me. I always found out that there’s a higher intelligence who are always there to guide us.

Before I decided to check on them to safety, they both stood up and we got to the side of the road. I have witnessed our skin turned white followed by a very red blood. I called the emergency respond and within minutes they arrived and the bright light appeared like daylight. I would like to acknowledge and appreciate the nurses who took care of our injury and to all the dedication of the entire emergency response and healthcare system.

Then after that, I went to the nearby house where I live. At the gate no one answered, so I decided to climb where at the same time a mobile police patrol was coming. I was almost at the top of the gate when they stopped me and asked. I told them I had to see my girlfriend who is a nurse because I had a motorcycle accident. The situation was aroused, with flashing lights, and barking dogs, next thing the neighbors woke up and I saw that the light was turned on in the 2nd-floor room. When the gate lit up, the presence of the newly awakened princess came out of the door, she’s so beautiful and I saw every moment as she walked. It was like I was dreaming, everyone paid attention and respect, but I was still in pain. The thing that keeps me going is my adrenaline. But when the officer asked if she knew me, even for a moment, time seemed to stand still as everyone waited for her answer. It’s like I’m suspended in a space while she can marry me if she said yes. I feel like every cell in my body is also listening to her as the beautiful being descends from above to look at me and heal my injury.
