I was far behind the line when a fellow runner stopped and took a cellphone shot. As I approached, this very well-primed athlete started quickly and led me to a very close, wild pace. The pressure that I put on her is putting back on me, but when I slow down, she relaxes and recovers. It suggests leading while behind the line. It gets into a process called “enjoying the moment”. After the recovery, I took the lead. As I felt the pressure on me, things were getting back into the wild. My lungs are burning as it’s getting hotter and hotter. Every time at the turn, I can see, feel, and hear the stronger stride behind me and the energy with our burning lungs. She didn’t want to give up so easily. Then again, a voice came and ask why we have to keep things harder for both of us if we can make things nice and smooth, easy to enjoy and witness the beautiful presence of the breathtaking nature, I was out.
